Another of my raindrop painting's     It is based on my love of what happens when I focus my lines on raindrops on my windshield and everything ells goes out of focus.  Not sure when the fascination started but, "who cares". I love painting them and that is all that matters. I call my new series  "UP CLOSE & PERSONAL"
This painting can be seen on my new "Twitch.tv"

Here is a close-up sample:

This photo is from last years set-up for this summers show at the festival of arts in Laguna beach CA.
The show runs for two months, I've display this grouping of my art for 8days now and I'm ready to make a change.  I have nine paintings  but for there size three or four can only go up at a time and being a rather resistless person, I move work around a lot.   My small works running along the bottom of  my big canvass have sold and been replaced with originals, now I waiting for a large painting to find a home...

I just found this image amongst some old files in backup on a hard-drive.   Trying to put a date to it, It must be thirty years ago, so what..... Maybe 1984.... Gosh!  That's a lifetime ago...  I know it was big, how big I don't have a clue... It was painted at a time when I didn't think about cataloging.  No home computers and cell phones, that was in science fiction movies.

    about myself

I paint every day, I am what is known as a studio artist.   I photograph a great percent of subject matter the rest is in the madness of my mind. At times I may use two or more photographs to achieve one painting.  Whatever it takes to tell a story with color.
